Who we are

Built in Hyderabad, for farmers across India

Servet Feeds & Minerals began in 1984 in Hyderabad as a mineral mixture manufacturer for poultry. Telangana's poultry belt was on our doorstep, and the work started the way it still runs today — formulating for the conditions farmers actually face, then standing behind the result.

As shrimp farming grew along the Andhra coast, we extended into aquaculture, introducing a dedicated brand for our shrimp and fish medicines and supplements so that each division could be formulated on its own terms rather than adapted from another species. Dairy mineral mixtures followed.

Today the company operates from its head office and manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, with products reaching poultry, aquaculture and dairy farmers across India through a growing dealer and distribution network.

Three divisions, one discipline: formulate for the field the product is going into, and certify what leaves the factory.

The business has moved from a family-run operation to a professionally managed one. That transition brought a renewed focus on the dealer network, on field support for the farmers our dealers serve, and on the certifications that let buyers verify what they are purchasing.

What has not changed is the manufacturing base. Head office and factory remain together in Hyderabad, which keeps formulation, production and quality control under one roof.

Servet exists because of one man's decision to build something of his own in an industry he had spent nearly a decade learning from the ground up.

Komirelli Madhusudhan Reddy completed his graduation in 1975 and began his career in agriculture that same year. In 1980 he entered the poultry industry as a sales representative for Avet — work that put him in front of farmers daily and taught him what they actually needed from a supplier, rather than what a catalogue said they should want.

Four years later, in 1984, he founded Servet in Hyderabad as a mineral mixture manufacturer for poultry. He has led the company ever since, guiding it from that single product line into the three divisions — poultry, aquaculture and dairy — that Servet operates today.

Komirelli Nihal Reddy

Nihal grew up inside the business. From childhood he visited the company alongside his father, learning how Servet worked from the ground level — the formulations, the factory floor, and the farmers the products were made for.

He completed his graduation in 2019 and spent the following two years working in the company. To build experience outside the family business, he then took an IT role at Amazon, before moving to the United States in 2021 for a Master's in Data Analytics Engineering at Northeastern University.

After completing his postgraduate degree in 2022, he joined the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a data analyst, working with the Department of Revenue — experience that put him close to how large organisations use data and artificial intelligence at scale.

He returned to India to join and lead Servet, bringing that technical grounding to a manufacturing business built over four decades. The aim is straightforward: keep the formulation discipline and farmer relationships that built the company, and use data and technology to make them work harder.
